TripIt,
a famous travel management service, took advantage of the recent CES
2012 event to launch their newest Android app for both Samsung Galaxy
Tab 7.0 Plus and the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Because
of the extra screen size, users of the app get to have an option to
view the list of all trips on either portrait or landscape mode. It also
has a single itinerary overview beside the chosen view. As such, users
get to dive more into the specifics of their flight details including
their seat assignments and confirmation numbers, while still keep an eye
out on their full trip schedule.
The
app also provides a dynamic view to directly navigate maps from the
itinerary. So as soon as users have chosen a flight, the location of the
airport will light up on the map. Users can then choose how to get
directions they need.
The version ‘optimized for Android tablets’ is also available on other mobile platforms other than Android.
